Job Description:
As an R&D Assistant Scientist at BrainXell, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research and development efforts. Working closely with our team of stem cell and neuroscientists, you will be responsible for conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting in the development of innovative solutions and technologies. Responsibilities:
- Maintain and differentiate human induced pluripotent stem cells into various neural lineages, under the direction of Senior R&D Scientists.
- Assist in the design and execution of experiments, focusing on the development and optimization of novel protocols.
- Collect, record, and analyze data using various scientific techniques and software tools.
- Collaborate with senior scientists and production staff to troubleshoot and optimize experimental procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized laboratory records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company protocols.
- Contribute to the development of research reports, technical documentation, and presentations.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in the field and actively participate in team meetings and discussions.
- Ensure laboratory safety and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Neurobiology, Cell Biology or relevant scientific field with 1-3 years experience.
- Prior laboratory experience through employment, internships, or research projects.
- Hands on experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Hands on experience with iPSCs or neurons preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Enthusiasm for scientific discovery and innovation.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment operation.
