The mission of the SSSCR is to promote stem cell research in the community. We believe in the potential of stem cells to be developed into tomorrow’s cures for today’s incurable diseases. We exist to foster interest, knowledge and passion about stem cell research at the undergraduate level.

The parent organization was founded in August of 2003. They are an international network dedicated to the advancement of scientific research for cures. They believe that stem cell research will revolutionize the field of medicine. With a coordinated and cooperative global effort, they can advance stem cell research in the most efficient manner.
