Job Description:

BrainXell is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Lab Assistant to support our research and production teams. These teams are responsible for developing and producing neurons and glia from induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). The ideal candidate will assist with various laboratory tasks, contribute to production and research projects as needed, and help maintain a clean and organized workspace. Prior experience with mammalian cell culture is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare laboratory equipment and materials.
  • Perform routine lab maintenance and inventory management.
  • Assist with conducting experiments and recording data.
  • Follow established protocols and safety procedures.
  • Support researchers with data entry and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed lab notebooks and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or experience in a scientific field is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic understanding of laboratory techniques and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Hours: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week, flexible scheduling available.
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
