Yale University Lab, Post-doc

Our lab is investigating mechanisms of autoimmunity in diabetes. We are very interested in immune cell/tissue cell interactions. We are looking for a Post-doc for a research project involving the differentiation of insulin producing beta cells from human induced pluripotent stem cells to analyze features of the iPSC derived cells and to investigate their role in accelerating their immune mediated destruction. We are planning to create cells with genetic mutations that can affect the inflammatory responses of the beta cells.

A graduate degree with experience in culture techniques is required. Some skills in molecular techniques are also required. In addition, experience working with iPSCs is preferred.
