Title: New Innovations in Stem Cell & Cancer Research Workflows: From Gene Editing to Suspension Culture – A New Dimension in Disease Model Research

Abstract: At Thermo Fisher Scientific, our goal is to bring innovative new products and services that enable the development of more physiologically relevant disease models to help accelerate the drug discovery process. This seminar will highlight innovations in gene editing workflows and reagents that facilitate both basic research and disease model generation. This seminar will also highlight innovations in stem cell culture, characterization, and downstream differentiation needed to generate 3D stem cell-based disease models. Additionally, we will highlight new innovations in primary patient derived cancer tumoroid culture and specific examples will be provided of how stem cell & cancer researchers can leverage novel protocols and reagents to build relevant 3-dimensional organoid models.
