Relevant Research Description
At the Primate Center, we focus on three main research areas, Reproduction and Regenerative Medicine, Aging and Metabolics,  and Immunology and Virology. Our stem cell and regenerative medicine studies primarily fit within the goals of the first and second areas. Our third area primarily involves but is not limited to AIDS research. Five of our 20 core or on-site affiliate scientists (Drs. Emborg, Golos, Slukvin, Terasawa, Thomson), plus numerous other investigators on campus and elsewhere use Primate Center Stem Cell Resources, Animal Services and other center support for research related to stem cell and regenerative medicine. For more information on these studies and Primate Center scientists, please visit our website.
